Shipping and Returns

GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION

Most orders will be shipped by UPS, Fed EX Ground Service, or Freight Carrier at a rate to be determined by the shipping company that will transport the order.

Exact shipping rate is quoted by the shipping/freight company after order has been packed and weighed.

Shipping quote will be emailed to clients after we have finished packing and the shipping/freight company that will deliver the order has provided the quote.

Freight service deliveries are curbside and include lift gate service.

Shipping charges and balances on the order must be paid in full before delivery can be scheduled.

Hacienda Lights and Iron is not responsible for delays caused by either the Freight Company selected, UPS, or FedEx. Shipping and freight companies are completely independent of Hacienda Lights and Iron which means that we have no control over freight or shipping company schedules.

If the client is not available to receive the order when freight or shipping company intends to make the delivery and the order is returned or incurs a storage fee, Hacienda Lights and Iron is not responsible for the costs.

Shipping address is based on the information on clients invoice. Any changes after order has been shipped will incurs costs that the client will be responsible for. If you need to change the address please notify Hacienda Lights and Iron before shipping.

Hacienda Lights and Iron will keep your order in our warehouse for 7 working days after a client has been notified the order is ready to ship and shipping quote has been emailed. After that time, shipping charges will be processed based on the shipping address on file and quote emailed to client.

In cases were there is no credit card on file and there has been three attempts by Hacienda Lights and Iron to contact client without an answer in the 7 working days period, a weekly storage fee of $40.00 per pallet/box will be added to the balance on the invoice.

The customer is responsible for the inspection of all merchandise upon arrival. The customer must notify Hacienda Lights and Iron and their freight/shipping company within 24 hours after receiving the order if any damage has occurred to the order. Failure to notify Hacienda Lights and Iron and freight/shipping company and waiting for a period of time to inspect order until it’s time for installation will cause claim to be rejected.

If you receive broken glass panels, we will replace them if notified and sent pictures of damage within 2 business days after receiving the order. Hacienda Lights and Iron is not responsible for broken glass panels, missing candle covers,  or other damage or loss including designs ordered not reported within the first 48 hours the order is received. No exceptions.

PACKING

Since most of our products are as fragile as they are heavy, they require special packaging. Each fixture is packed by hand using the best material available to protect our designs.

Cost of packing materials and labor is separate from the shipping cost quoted by the freight companies and it will be quoted when the order is placed.

PACKING COST

We at Hacienda Lights and Iron strive to keep the cost as low as possible without sacrificing the quality and care your designs require at the time of packing for shipping.

The following are individual examples of costs for packing our designs. This cost is separate from what the shipping or freight company will charge for transporting your order. They only transport- not pack.

Since orders that includes multiple pieces will be shipped with various designs together, the packaging costs are much lower than individual product. This quote can only be provided after establishing the designs that will be included in that particular order.

Packaging fees for orders that are been shipped include  double wall boxes, foam with kraft paper filling and wood pallets if been shipped via freight service or design includes glass.

Chandelier up to 40″w … $75.00     Chandelier 41″ wide to 48″w … $95.00

Chandelier  49″w  and larger will be quoted at time of ordering.

Pendant up to 16″w … $45.00    Pendant with glass panels … $60.00

Pendant 17″w  to 24″w … $65.00  Oversize pendants .. quoted at time of ordering.

Exterior lanterns up to 30″h … $50.00 Exterior lanterns 31″h to 48″h … $65.00

Wall sconces up to 30″h … $30.00     Wall sconces 31″h to 60″h … $50.00

At the time an order is quoted or placed, Hacienda Lights and Iron will include the cost of packing your designs.

PICK UP/WILL CALL

ORDERS PICKED UP AT OUR NATIONAL CITY, CA SHOWROOM WILL BE WRAPPED IN FOAM, NOT BOXED, FREE OF CHARGE.

RETURNS

If your light fixture or accessory is defective in material or workmanship, we will repair or replace it with exactly the same design. No other returns will be accepted.

All merchandise to be returned must be packed in the original packaging. If this is not available, the customer is responsible for packing items to be returned in the same manner that the order was received. Hacienda Lights and Iron is not responsible for packaging cost and will not accept merchandise that was damaged in in the return transit due to poor packaging.

Client is responsible for checking that his order arrived correct before installing. Hacienda Lights and Iron is not responsible for installation costs of any designs/situation that warrants the return of an order.
